The 5th hall of the museum is called “Culture of Northern Bactria in the Kushan Epoch”. The Kushan culture of Surkhandarya region is represented with outstanding monuments of world significance as Khalchayan, Buddhist monasteries Karatepa and Fayaztepa in Termez, Airtam, Dalvarzintepa and Kampirtepa.
In the portal of Kushan period there performed a model of Bodhistava statue excavated in Dalvarzintepa (I-II cc A.D.). In the beginning of the exhibition there represented a model of Airtam frieze, clay terracotta statuettes, a statue of Buddha from Karatepa, models of Khalchayan Palace and the palace of a rich man from Dalvarzintepa and photodiarams of Karatepa and Dalvarzintepa decorating show-cases of the hall.
Moreover, there is a wall-painting with the image of a priest and kids from Dalvarzintepa, a statue of an aristocrat, the map of the Great Silk Road, the beasts of Kushan kinds, coins of Kushan period, copies of chessmen found in Dalvarzntepa are represented in this exhibition hall.
